Staying Warm at Breakfast

Henry wanted to eat breakfast in his favorite hat this morning . . . how can you argue with that??

The Slack Family had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year!! Henry especially enjoyed the Sweet Potato Souffle (thanks, Aunt Erin). Check out the costumes . . . you know Grandma Cocky had to bring something fun and festive!

Lindsey's 29th Birthday

Check out some pics from my 29th Birthday! Erin and I sat 30 feet from Sting at the Police concert: it was incredible!!! We topped of the night with some Bubbly and a surprise visit from my God-Mother. What a great celebration!

Henry is Busy all the Time!!

Henry sure has been busy this month. He has learned several new words (apple, cow, kitty, and his most favorite . . . no). He has learned to climb the stairs on his playset and zips down the slide all by himself. He loves to ride his airplane all over the house (thank you again to Aunt Jenn and Uncle Rob!!), and he also likes to jump!!

Off to the Farm

Last Sunday, we took a trip to the Cagle Dairy Farm. What a day!
Henry enjoyed looking at the baby cows watching the pigs race around a track.
Daddy enjoyed carrying 5 pumpkins at one time to the car ("all you can carry for $15 dollars").
Grandma Cocky enjoyed bargaining with the Pumpkin lady.
Grandpa Papa enjoyed reminiscing about farm life.
Aunt Tia Kangol enjoyed the idea of bouncing on the moonwalk.
Mommy enjoyed the ride home - ha!!!

Mommy thinks I am Pretty Cute

Here I am chilling out at dinner with my Grandma Mac and Grandpa Pop. I am pretty sure the ladies were checking me out!!

Ellington Family Reunion 2007

This weekend, I went on my very first trip to the beach! It was the annual Ellington Family Reunion, and I had a great time. I met my awesome cousin Simon for the very first time, and I got to play with my uncles, aunts, Grandma Mac, Grandpa Pop, and many other family members. I loved the beach . . . and I loved eating many handfuls of sand as well - yummy!

Here I am with the boys. Mom wanted us to pose, but we had more fun things to do!

Cousin Simon and I hang out by the water. We had a great time playing together.

My first encounter with seaweed!! I wasn't so sure about that stuff!

Playing at the Beach is tough work . . .

85 Degrees is just not Pumpkin Weather !

I had so much fun visiting Berry Patch Farm today. They had pumpkins, animals, a tractor, and lots of kids to watch!! It was a little warm for October . . . but I managed to have fun.

I Love my Slide!!

I took Daddy out to play in our yard this weekend. I even showed him how to go down the slide. I am really fast (so fast, Mommy could not keep up with the camera . . . sorry for the blurry pic!)

Playing in my Yard

This weekend was beautiful in Atlanta. Fall has finally arrived! Henry took full advantage of the sunny day - kicking and throwing his basketball in the yard.

Henry's First Haircut

Henry had a very big day Saturday, as we went to get his first haircut. I have to admit - it was very hard to see those sweet, blonde curls disappear (see first picture), but he is quite the clean cut little boy now. We had a great time playing with bubbles and eating animal crackers while they cut away. Henry was a very big boy - did not shed a tear!

September Visitors

I have been so lucky to have so many wonderful visitors this month . . . it has been great! Aunt Talia came to visit from Switzerland for 2 weeks. What a wonderful time. Aunt Erin has some pictures of me showing her around, so I will have to add them soon.

We then took a trip up to Pop and Grandma Mac's house for the Carolina v. Virginia game. Go Wahoos!!! I wore my lucky Virginia shirt . . . and it must have worked! Virginia beat the Tarheels, 22-20!!

Here I am with my "Aunt" Leslie . . . I wore my new Carolina hat (from Grandma Mac) for her.

After we returned from Virginia, Grandpa Ted came down and stayed for a whole week!! We had a blast! I showed Grandpa all my new tricks. I miss him already!!
